In depth

Verdict

Several of these have been knocking on the door but most remain eminently beatable. Tower was second in a novice event over C&D in May but probably flattered by his proximity to Oasis Knight at Market Rasen 11 days ago. Talk Of Saafend also has a recent C&D second to her name and has been placed twice on the Flat recently while Taroum has only found one too good in his last three starts but, along with The Tiddly Tadpole, may lack a bit of scope now. BHALTAIR won a bumper at Wetherby last month and made a bold bid to follow up under a penalty at Ffos Las three weeks ago. Sure to have had plenty of schooling ahead of his hurdling debut, Donald McCain's grey is the likeliest winner of this.
