In depth

Verdict

This looks wide-open but Goldan Jess is 11lb higher than when winning last year's renewal. Aficionado has been raised 10lb in the course of rattling-up a succession of placed efforts and JALINGO makes more appeal racing off the same mark as when going close at Stratford last time. This longer trip will suit John Ferguson's charge while Kilfinichen Bay is another to consider as he bids for a treble. Sealous Scout has claims having scored over track and trip in May but Just A Normal Day has a hike in the weights to contend with after landing a double last month. Aintree winner Brave Helios is still improving and could figure and Zarzal is not out of this either.
