In depth

Verdict

Having finished runner-up over this trip at Bath last time, Society Pearl would appear to have the form for this but it's NORTHERN MEETING who gets the vote as she has more scope and will have benefited greatly from her run at Windsor in May. Harbinger Lass made a very bright start at Newbury in April but hasn't progressed as expected and was beaten in a moderate Polytrack maiden at Lingfield last time. Copybook wouldn't need to be a world-beater to make a winning debut and Mark Johnston's Singspiel filly is one to keep an eye on in the market.
