In depth

Verdict

Philip Kirby has placed Just Paul brilliantly to complete a hat-trick without going up too much in the weights so the 6lb he earns for Saturday's Beverley victory shouldn't prevent another big run. Silkelly was definitely disappointing at Carlisle after a fine reappearance success at Musselburgh but that doesn't appear to be her true form. This Is Nice has been beaten three times from this mark after her Brighton maiden success so it's RICH FOREVER who gets the nod as he showed a welcome return to form at Beverley on Friday and has now dropped to a mark he is capable of winning from.
