    Verdict

Low numbers generally have the call in big fields here which may just rule out the in-form pair Birdy Boy and Rasselas, though the latter should have the beating of Jupiter Fidius on their run at Newcastle in May. Pippy has the ideal stalls position but ran poorly at Salisbury last time while Needy McCredie may find the ground a bit lively. CYMERIAD is still a maiden after 15 starts but has gone close on enough occasions to merit respect and, with a very good run at Redcar behind her, she's handed the vote in a poor contest.
