Verdict

Beach Break, a winner on the Flat here in June, couldn't cope with Born Legend on his hurdling debut at Bangor but had the remainder well beaten. Indian Vision never reached a place on the level and was a 66/1 chance on his debut over timber at Sedgefied but belied his odds with a fine run where he would have finished closer but for a last-flight error. Lazarus was well beaten on his debut and was engaged to run at Lingfield yesterday while Outcrop hasn't shown much. Haulani is a half-brother to five winners though doesn't have an jumpers in his pedigree but like Muisheen Durkin he's won twice on the level. SOLO SAXOPHONE is by Frankel out of a winning miler. He showed promise for Dermot Weld and his in-form connections must believe he'll make a hurdler and he's handed the vote. Starshell was a beaten favourite in his last six starts on the Flat for Sir Mark Prescott.
