In depth

Verdict

Lough Salt gained his second success over 3m with a comfortable victory at Wetherby and this slightly longer trip should be even more in his favour. KATY ROYAL earned Joe Colliver a ban after he rode her into second at Newcastle where she came too late. That was over 2m4f but she looks the type to do better at this trip and can go one better. West Of The Edge was in cracking form over fences last season winning three times. He reverts to hurdles on a 9lb lower mark and has a 7lb claimer on board so has to be considered. Tanarpino stepped up to 3m at Doncaster earlier this month and produced his best run for some time while Askamore Darsi has produced a couple of fair efforts since scoring at Sedgefield in March.
