    Verdict

A tricky race to open the card with at Catterick as all of these appear to be bred to make an impact over much further a trip. However, San Remy showed plenty of dash for a while on his debut at Newmarket a fortnight ago and looked sure to come on for the run. Insubordinate Special Thread look to be best of those with previous experience, but will also be seen to better effect over further in time. So the well-bred A Bit Of Fun will not need to be anything out of the ordinary to chase home the selection here. A watchful eye on the market will obviously be the best policy but San Remy edges the vote on the limited evidence available.
