Verdict

Another competitive handicap on today’s card with a handful of progressive types to consider. Mise En Rose made a winning return over track and trip and beat Barleysugar at Kempton last year to win her maiden. The latter also has every chance on her recent second at Newmarket but PERSUASIVE (NAP) is taken to remain unbeaten. She landed a Goodwood handicap under Frankie on her reappearance and should be winning this if connections intend taking up an entry in the Coronation Stakes at Royal Ascot later in the month. Lucy The Painter has been winning lower grade handicaps but the likes of Malmostosa and Veena will likely improve past her in this.
