Verdict

Plenty with claims in this with a tentative vote going to FREE RUNNING. Simon Crisford’s filly has yet to race over this far but her third at Lingfield behind the progressive Lucy The Painter and subsequent winner Esteemable looks decent form. Taper Tantrum needs to step up on earlier efforts over today’s trip but Sureness won over 1m3f at Kempton a fortnight ago. Mr Red Clubs has the beating of Patriotic on collateral form and Whoopsy Daisy won off a 3lb lower mark over course and distance in March. Compton Mill should be sharper for a recent comeback and Ryan Moore takes over the reins.
