In depth

Verdict

KARAWAAN failed to land the odds when only third at Lingfield in May but the form looks better in hindsight given the first two home are now both rated 90. A tongue-tie is applied on his return and he should have the measure of Perfect Spy, who made a promising start when third at Newmarket in June. The others with experience make little appeal on what little they have shown so far while the 280,000gns purchase, Military Parade, has already been gelded but fellow newcomer Kingdomforakitten represents leading owners in the US.
