In depth

Verdict

A winner at Chepstow in June, Priors Brook has also won on the all-weather and is not out of this. But ESTRELLA ERIA (NAP) notched-up four successive course and distance victories before struggling at Haydock and George Peckham’s filly gets the vote back at this venue. Graceful James is another who prefers the all-weather surfaces and won here in December when narrowly beating San Quentin while The Gay Cavalier looks more favourably handicapped than Zorba The Greek and Foie Gras on last month’s second at Sandown.
