Verdict

The Groove faces a more difficult task bidding for a hat-trick in this company after landing a couple of plating races. Serena Brotherton rode last year’s winner and partners Zapper Cass today, raised 4lb after scoring over the minimum trip at Newcastle. Caribbean Spring won over a mile at Southwell under today’s amateur in November but MIRACLE GARDEN beat Hollander easily enough when successful over today’s trip at Kempton and can go in again, despite a penalty, having won off higher marks in the past.
