      Verdict

Scorching Heat ended last year with a victory at Goodwood and is 6lb higher on his return. RAUCOUS has been raised the same amount after also winning at Goodwood last month but Bob Cowell’s charge won a tough conditions race over track and trip last year and should go close again. Dubai One struggled at Meydan earlier this year but has won five of 10 starts on the all-weather surfaces while Dougan is also prolific on the all-weather and arrives on the back of a good effort at Doncaster. Private Matter won a lower grade sprint at Catterick recently while Cenotaph returns to action for new connections having failed to win for Aidan O’Brien last year.
