Verdict

Blue Baton had run well at Hexham before falling at Kelso. Dan Skelton has proved to have a magic touch with previously disappointing types like Gi Jayne and the seven-year-old justified favouritism at Southwell five weeks ago in first-time headgear. MRS BURBIDGE won off this mark the last time she ran over hurdles. Placed over fences and on the all-weather since, she’ll not lack for fitness so gets the nod. Ffos Las second Western Sunrise may be better over further but Lady Vitesse and Hermanus have each-way claims again.
