    Verdict

In a decent little Novice Stakes JOYOUSLY was perhaps unlucky to bump into a smart one last time so we give the David Evans trained runner the chance to go one better ahead of Memen and Cape Elektric. After winning a seller on his second run the pick has improved on that form in three runs since in similar races to this. His two best runs have come on Good ground so conditions look perfect and there is every chance he can get up. Memen improved from a solid debut in a strong Newbury maiden to score well on his latest start at the same venue. There's no reason to suggest he won't progress again so he should be in the mix. Cape Elektric was a hot favourite on debut and duly obliged despite some early signs of inexperience. He finished with some aplomb to win so we expect plenty more again. Bilko Pak was another to improve from an initial outing to score on his second run so more should be on the cards but Joyously looked unlucky last time and may go one better.
