Master Macho will be tough to peg back, but preference in the opener is for the potentially more progressive IMPERIALISTIC DIVA, while Tilliemint can also improve to take a closer hand. The last-named is a stablemate of our pick and she has not come on quite as much as the promise of her debut run suggested. She returns to 5f for the first time since that day and is also back on good ground, so there are possibilities for her. Eric Alston's Cerejeira should learn plenty for her Haydock debut, when she was last of four, and with the yard continuing in form then she can step up on that effort. Master Macho has racked up a string of seconds, but there is no questioning his attitude. There was nothing wrong with his effort at Sandown last week when he was just nailed on the line and he can go close once more. With the newcomers not appearing any great shakes on pedigree, we prefer to side with Imperialistic Diva. Tim Easterby's filly has shown plenty of promise in her two runs to date, in the context of today's race. Pedigree suggests that she will handle any slowing of the ground if the rains come, and the drop to the minimum trip should not be a concern, so with more scope we will side with her.
