MAGIC JOURNEY may be the one to go with now he's broken his duck on the level after scoring with a fair degree of authority at Ayr recently. A 4lb rise that success seems reasonable and he'll have no problem with conditions, having run a close second on good ground at Ayr last month. Equally, he is also effective should any rain soften the terrain. Spare Parts has been well punted on a couple of occasions this term and nearly repaid connections the last day when only beaten in a Ffos Las photo. He's a leading contender here in receipt of weight all round and seems to be on the improve. Lawfilly continues to run her race without getting her head in front but she does remain winless after 14 starts, although expected to prove competitive once more off an unchanged mark. The Bastiman pair of Harbour Patrol and Secret City have each-way claims in an open race.
