Verdict

After winning at Ascot, Padge didn't jump very well before unseating his rider next time at Cheltenham. However, his presence means that only Waldorf Salad, who has won at Towcester and Taunton lately, can race off his correct mark in this. AWAYWITHTHEGREYS didn't really take to fences first time around but has won four times around here over hurdles, including last time off a 6lb higher mark. He's probably worth one more chance on these terms as he'll also enjoy the ground. Epic Warrior has won a hurdle and a point-to-point and was third on his fencing bow at Newbury while Relentless Dreamer would have claims on his second to Upswing at Worcester in October.
