Set To Go won a C&D seller two years ago but that's his only success in 20 starts. Croeso Mawr scored over a mile at Yarmouth on his final start last year and that is probably his best trip. But he's quite well treated in this conditions event and is an obvious threat despite a long absence. Polar Auroras rarely runs on Turf these days but is consistent enough on Polytrack so should be in the shake-up while the booking of Richard Hughes for Percythepinto could be significant, though George Baker's charge has been out of form since scoring on Fibresand at Southwell. Tony Culhane was on board when SON OF MAY ran his best race to date at Catterick last month and Jo Hughes' charge can take this if producing a similar level of form.
