    Verdict

A tight little handicap though Cherry Street ran poorly over the C&D two weeks ago when the ground was soft. Pinseeker was beaten 10 lengths when runner-up at Godwood in September and makes his handicap debut but the remaining trio arrive in winning form. Ruacana has been raised 7lb for his victory in a handicap on soft ground over this trip at Pontefract when the time was very slow. He's the type to do better as is Scatter Dice, who has won handicaps at Redcar and Yarmouth in comfortable fashion and looks certain to be there at the finish despite an 8lb rise. REI D'ORO has been given a break since his victory over 1m1f at Wolverhampton in February and looked very inexperienced that day. This should be his trip and he starts off in handicaps from what looks a winning mark.
