    Verdict

Barry Hills has an outstanding record at this festival and Huzzah is selected to add to his tally with his low draw an added advantage. A winner first time out this season at Newbury in a hotly contested handicap, he battled on gamely in the closing stages and is another that likes to sit on the pace. The front two drew well clear at Newbury and a 7lb higher mark does not look harsh when everything is weighed up. Dangers to Huzzah include Magnitude, drawn next door in stall 7 who connections opted to introduce at Warwick in a weak maiden, the second been beaten off 80 subsequently. Last seen at Yarmouth, he was beaten by a typical Mark Johnson battler in Debonnaire and should be all the better for the experience. Adversity is attractively handicapped but has to overcome the 'coffin' box of stall 12. Presumably Ryan Moore will adopt hold up tactics but he will need a lot of luck in running while Wasan is another unexposed sort but a high draw to overcome. Royalist caught the eye with the manner of his victory at Doncaster in what was admittedly a weak maiden. He pulled very hard early on in that contest but when 'let down' he quickened in taking style. Huzzah gets the nomination despite having to concede weight to some unexposed rivals.
