Verdict

A forward, uncomplicated juvenile is required for those seeking the winner. Chesters' configurations can prove a real challenge for both horse and rider especially where these inexperienced sorts are concerned. Senatorial is selected to add to what could be a good day for the Barry Hills yard. The yard has saddled the winner of this event for the last three years and Senatorial is taken to make it four in a row. One outing this season saw the Oasis Dream colt finish mid-division behind a very smart winner in Art Connoisseur. Noted doing his best work in the closing stages under tender handling, that event consisted of the third placed Quqba, who was well-touted on Sunday at Newmarket while a winner has emerged, the ninth placed Icesolater. It is a maiden that has the profile of one that could produce plenty of winners and Senatorial can be the second to emerge. Musical Bridge does not hail from a yard one would associate with producing juvenile winners but deserved respect having been just touched off by the Richard Hannon trained April Pride on his debut. The Hannon filly was well supported to land a Salisbury conditions event on Sunday and despite finishing runner-up one suspects she may be smart. That form looks solid. The Hannon yard saddle Rebecca De Winter here and with a line to Musical Bridge, market support should be noted. She showed good early speed before been out pointed by the experienced Moss Winter. One suspects that Lingfield form may not be as strong as that displayed by the previously two mentioned. Senatorial is a confident choice to land this maiden.
