Verdict

Henry Cecil won this race ten years ago and can land the spoils this year with Light Shift ahead of All My Loving and Hollow Ridge. Having started this season well, Cecil will be looking to continue here. A winner on her recent reappearance, she could be a filly in form to side with. Being out a Shirley Heights mare, the stamina should be forthcoming over this longer trip and adaptable in regards to tactics, Ted Durcan's charge looks the one to side with. A winner of her only start in Ireland, Aiden O'Brien's All My Loving warrants plenty of respect. She made all that day and from her handy low draw, she could be hard to pass late on with this step up in trip expected to suit. So Sweet's last run in the Goffs Million can be ruled out as the ground may not have suited and so must have claims as she has proved herself going left-handed, although this tight track is an unknown factor and she may prefer a more galloping course. Kayah won her only start last year and could be anything so the betting will help there, whilst Hollow Ridge showed good form on soft ground last year but has a poor draw here. A tricky race for punters, but Light Shift is taken to continue her progression.
