Pipes Of Peace has only had two runs this campaign but has been a disappointing favourite in both. Free Ranger was beaten a long way into second at Listowel though that was only his second start and he's expected to improve. Roman Seera belied her 66/1 SP with a very good third on testing ground at Listowel when Famous Pearl ran a shocker despite starting favourite. NEWCROSS looked a certain future winner when runner-up at Roscommon in August and was well supported to go one better at Listowel but ran very poorly. That wasn't his form and he's taken to bounce back and land this.
