In depth

Verdict

In Compliance was wearing blinkers for the first time in his long career when bolting up at Thurles last month. Dessie Hughes' charge has Aintree on the agenda and this veteran's race looks the ideal stepping stone for this sound jumper. However, he has lumps of weight to concede to SIZING AMERICA who ran his best race for a very long time behind The Sneezer at Gowran a couple of weeks ago and looks ready to score from this mark. Glenfinn Captain was well beaten that day and looks up against it while it's a very long time since Ponmeoath was winning. Dev landed the Grand Sefton at Aintree in November 2009 for Mick Quinlan but hasn't been seen since. The fact that he's joined Gordon Elliott won't do him any harm and, at just 4lb higher, he looks a big threat to all.
