VINTAGE CHARM (NAP) didn't run as a juvenile and took some time to warm up last season but she lost her maiden tag with an emphatic victory over stable companion Ringside Humour at Navan in October and it's a surprise that she was only raised 2lb. She looks on a lenient mark and can reappear with a victory. Papa's Way has been in cracking form over hurdles but appeared to find this trip too short on his return to the Flat at Cork when beaten a long way into second by Heartbreak City with Vivat Rex a length behind in third. The lightly-raced Gallope had been going very well before beaten a long way when favourite at Gowran in August when obviously not right while Marshall Jennings is another with a long break to overcome.
