In depth

Verdict

Raphael looks best of those with experience and the softer ground may help but this should go to a newcomer. Aidan O'Brien has three entries, BOND STREET is by Galileo out of a 6f two-year-old winner and Seamie Heffernan's presence suggests he could be the one. Madrid is another Galileo and related to seven winners, mostly over middle-distance, while The Pentagon is also by the same sire and a half-brother to five winners including a couple of useful juveniles. Joseph O'Brien's Drapers Guild is a half-brother to three winners while Jim Bolger's Verbal Dexterity is bred for this trip and is one to note in the market. Zayriyan will stay further in time but the soft ground should see him give a good account.
