In depth

Verdict

Sir Edwin Landseer has run his best races on ground with plenty of give so conditions will suit as he attempts this trip for the first time. He was behind Eagle Spirit when both returned to action over 1m2f at Navan when the latter was staying on the better and should confirm the form. The progressive Khudha ran a fine race behind Hyperdrive at Limerick and the winner scored again on Thursday though Johnny Murtagh's charge is 5lb out of the handicap and isn't certain to confirm latest form with Galtymore, who was only just behind. MODERN APPROACH (NAP) made most when landing a Gowran maiden over an extended 1m1f and though stepping up markedly in trip she has plenty of stamina in her pedigree and looks the one to be on.
