Verdict

LEAH CLAIRE won over this trip at Leopardstown in the spring and was just beaten in handicaps here and at Navan in subsequent starts. Willie McCreery's mare has been a grand servant to connections and is just about the pick of the weights in this ahead of the three-year-olds Mourani and King Of The Romans. The former disappointed over track and trip last time but the latter won over 1m1f at Ballinrobe on his latest start, though still has his stamina to prove over this longer distance. Placere and Prospectorous aren't without a chance but Star Power probably needs further and has a bit to find with Asian Wing on the form book.
