Verdict

This is a very good race for three-year-olds but not one favourite has been successful in the past ten years. The younger generation are probably best represented by Hopes N Dreams and ONE FINE DAY. The former was originally trained in Ireland but now with Kevin Ryan. She was very impressive when gaining her third victory in four starts at Hamilton and looks certain to get involved in the finish. However, Jessica Harrington's filly looks the one to be on as she is ideally suited by testing conditions as she showed when scoring over a mile at Listowel and Leopardstown. With the going certain to be very soft she can defy a 5lb rise for her latest success. Angel Bright, another three-year-old, has been running well and looks to have a bit of scope so she can give a good account from her lowly spot in the handicap. New Magic will also like the ground and has really found her feet in the last few weeks though a 9lb rise for defeating today's rival Rock On Ciara by just over a length at Limerick brings the runner-up very much into contention on the revised terms.
