Verdict

Duke Of Yorkshire won twice under today’s amateur last year while Royal Flag has been in good form over 2m and won at Newcastle in January. Rahmah should be noted with a leading amateur in Serena Brotherton on board but DEEP RESOLVE and Simon Walker finished third in last year’s renewal and with a recent win at Southwell under his belt, the former may well come out best on this occasion. Whitecliff Park is back on a winning mark and today’s rider can claim 7lb while Sergeant Pink has won one of these events in the past.
