Verdict

Most of these wouldn’t be out of place in a seller. CALARULES is the least exposed and probably wouldn’t need to improve on a couple of recent runs at Wetherby to make a winning handicap debut. He certainly has more scope than the other four-year-old Four Mile Beach, disappointing since finishing second at Southwell in October. Stepover appears to be going backwards and Diamond Reflection hasn’t raced since a well-beaten fourth over a much longer trip at Uttoxeter in April.
