In depth

Verdict

London Bridge is sure to be popular but a number of these hinted that they could be above average last season and we'll take EVERYNIGHT to build on that impression whilst Above Average is also considered. Marco Botti's runner was backed at fancy prices on debut at Nottingham and may well have rewarded his supporters but for running green. The half-brother to the smart Rasaman tracked the leaders but was forced to challenge out wide and showed his inexperience when asked to go about his work. That was a decent run though and the form looks solid. London Bridge ran on takingly from off the pace to get to within a length of a winner who had already shown a decent level of form and that run provides some of the best form on offer. Classically's maiden run also has to be rated highly, particularly as his yard rarely has them fully wound up for their debuts. He's related to the smart Speciosa and should make up into a nice prospect himself. Above Average hails from a yard that does well here and there were plenty of positives to be taken from his two runs last term. Amazing Tiger and Thousand Miles are two more likely looking types although the former is likely to benefit from stepping up in trip in due course and may be seen to better effect once he's got this run under his belt. Some interesting types go to post; we'll take Everynight to lead them home.
