    Verdict

The market will give most clues and BRADFORD BORIS is the tentative selection against Raincoat and Always Bold. There is every reason to believe that soft ground would not have suited the five-year-old on a debut and as a relation to a number of winners over this trip, we believe that he should leave his inauspicious debut behind. Raincoat arrived to hurdling with plenty of fanfare. Regrettably he does not appear to be the most natural of performers over obstacles. Always Bold travelled well at Wetherby for a long way before weakening rapidly as the race began in earnest. Fal Agh Bagh had shaped with promise at Ludlow though failed to run up to the form on reappearance. Tapimix has been unable to reproduce some of the ability he showed in races on the flat in France. Endwell Lady is the daughter of a winning stayer on the flat so don't be surprised to see some improvement for the step up in trip. Not the strongest of maidens to be staged here and Bradford Boris is put forward to minimum stakes.
