Verdict

A disappointing turnout for a Saturday card and LE VERT GALANT is the pick with Keel Road and Court Lad also open to improvement. Ferdy Murphy's charge has had a few months off the track but on his latest visit to Musselburgh, he shaped as if the step up in trip may suit and this isn't the strongest event on paper. Keel Road was a winner of Irish points over the trip. Her first run under rules suggested that she badly needed the race. Court Lad is a half-brother to a winning stayer over 3m3f. He did not show a lot in bumpers but should be watched in the market. Putney Bridge has failed to build upon early promise and may be best watched at present. Unoitmakessense has shown glimmers of ability though these have been punctuated by some moderate hurdling. Le Vert Galant is still capable of improvement and can make experience count.
