A fiercely competitive finale in which we'll take a chance with ZEFOOHA ahead of the likes of Trip The Light, Kiho, Elite Land and Monfils Monfils. Tim Walford's mare is returning from a long absence and has only one career success over seven furlongs to her name. However, she's bred to get a trip and is attractively treated on the best of her form so could be worth chancing if the market gives out the right signals. Elite Land has shown improved form over hurdles since joining Brian Ellison and he could be attractively weighted if he can convert that improvement back to this discipline. This Ones For Eddy is interesting having never raced beyond seven before but there is stamina on the distaff side and he comes into the race in form. The inexperience of Kiho's jockey is a concern but the horse is open to progress and has shown enough to think that he can win races from this sort of mark. Monfils Monfils is back down to a winning mark whilst Trip The Light can probably hold his own from higher marks but may need a step back up in trip in order to do so. The short-list could easily be extended by half a dozen more names but we'll plump for Zefooha.
