    Verdict

This looks tricky but it may be significant that DIAMOND GEYSER's connections passed up the chance to run at Goodwood yesterday in search of quicker going. The stable won this in 2014 and the Champs Elysees colt was a little unlucky not to follow up a Lingfield win at Newbury, though has gone up a further 6lb since. Another Polytrack winner, Cape Cova, has plenty of scope while Pumblechook fulfilled the promise of his debut third when scoring easily at Pontefract. The Queen's filly Daphne has her sights lowered but this looks a big ask for Ripon second Michael's Mount while Rasasee is proving hard to place.
