In depth

Verdict

Not many of these arrive in form but NOBLE AUSSIE (NAP) appears to have drawn the easiest of the two divisions. He was having just his sixth start when coming with a late run to snatch third over 1m2f here last week and with further progress likely and the longer trip certain to suit he looks the one to be on. Ondamoura's second to Scenic Star at Down Royal was a good run and he didn't appreciate dropping back in trip last time so he can go well with his low weight. Brecan Boy hasn't run since landing a maiden hurdle in March 2012 but Mountmills gained his only success so far over the course and distance in May though he was well beaten in two subsequent starts. Sea of Blue would need to be considered if getting a run from her reserve spot.
