Verdict

A contest of great tradition can fall to Jamie Codd and HUBERTAS and provide John Quinn with a successful southern venture. Yet to score this season, he still finds himself hoisted to a career-high mark by the assessor but has enjoyed a nice break following a good Doncaster second in mid-June and looks to have been prepared with this in mind. He would not be inconvenienced by any softening of the ground whereas that may not be so with the prolific and improving Ickymasho for whom Patrick Mullins is booked. The Portman filly has progressed impressively and looks sure to be in the mix once more however. Diamond Joel is a possible dropped significantly in trip, likewise course and distance winner, Eton Rambler.
