A chance is taken with Mr Wiseguy in an ordinary contest where Rapscallion and Dybeburg are fancied to pose a few problems along the way. The last named was a multiple winner on the Flat in Poland but has adapted well to the jumping game on these shores. Tom George¿s charge drops into this grade for the first time and it would be noteworthy to see support arrive for the gelding in the betting ring. Rapscallion won the Horris Hill as a juvenile, so is the obvious class act in the race. However, his hurdling career has been inauspicious and it is a little disconcerting that he finds himself plying his trade in this lowly grade. Even so, he is likely to be a popular choice and has to be considered as a major player at this level. However, the odds are possibly going to be more attractive about Mr Wiseguy, who is expected to be sharper for his recent reappearance in a claimer at Ludlow. The predicted ground should not be a problem for Mr Wiseguy and, as none of these can be truly relied upon to give their all, he may have been found a good opening to get another win under his belt.
