In depth

Verdict

This is a tight little handicap but the youngster SANSILI has been knocking on the door and can gain his first victory. Peter Bowen's charge looked like losing his maiden tag at Fakenham last month but was run out of it in the closing stages over that 3m trip and today's distance should be just what's required. It's taken Tae Kwon Do a total of 28 races to lose his maiden tag but he did it with authority under Richard Johnson at Fontwell and a 7lb rise shouldn't prevent another big run. Tenby Jewel found 3m3f too far at Stratford but had run well here earlier and Akbabend only just failed to catch Abnaki when sent over this trip for the first time at Newton Abbot. Neither Cousin Maggie nor Tenby Jewel can be dismissed in an open affair.
