Mark Johnston's horses are in good form at the moment so the verdict lands on SECRETIVE with Guilded Warrior considered after his win last time a reason that is also made to bring in Zubova for consideration. A winner of a Haydock contest off a mark of 74 the selection had been struggling in better races off ratings in the low 80's before running well in defeat the last twice including off this mark on his latest. He may need to improve but this looks an easier race than that last one so he has a solid chance. Guilded Warrior scored on his first start of the season but then disappointed in two runs before bouncing back in style to win comfortably last time out. Based on that he should go well from this revised rating but a previous lack of consistency is a worry. Zubova capped a progressive run of form this term with a easy win in a claimer but will find things tougher back in handicap company while Innocuous wasn't beaten far off this mark on his handicap debut and is unexposed enough to improve. A tricky race to judge this but the form of Mark Johnston's string gives Secretive the edge.
