Piccelena, Supreme Kiss and Willmar look the three to concentrate on in this trappy opener and the vote is given to Piccelina. The selection showed improved form to be second behind Macvel last time out. That form sets the standard in the context of this race and if he improves again he will be hard to beat. Supreme Kiss rates the main danger on her latest second behind Abbey Cat. That form has since been franked but she has had plenty of chances and looks vulnerable to a less-exposed type. Willmar has shown enough ability in two races to date to suggest she can pick up a small race. This looks her easiest assignment to date and with the booking of Jamie Spencer catching the eye she should be noted in the market. Of the remainder, Emily's Will is another with place claims on her best form but she has given the impression in the past that she will be suited by a longer trip and for the winner we return to the progressive Piccelina.
