In depth

Verdict

Arctic Desert, gets the confident vote to send favourite backers home happy with Quantum Leap and Entertaining rating the main dangers. The selection was a good second off this mark behind Mine Behind last time out in a better race and he need only reproduce that effort to win this. Quantum Leap rates the main danger on his latest seventh behind Impeller, but he is best off a very strong pace that does not look likely in this small field and for that reason he is opposed. Entertaining is another worthy of respect as he is sure to have come on for his first run of the season and his stable are now in better form, but he has yet to win over this distance and for that reason he is overlooked. Sewmuch Character is game and consistent and is sure to run his race but looks weighted up to his best, and for the winner we return to Arctic Desert who will be hard to beat if in the same mood as he was last time out.
