Verdict

Boo can keep up his good recent run at the expense of South O'The Border, Wavertree Warrior and Entailment. Seb Sanders won this race last year on Masafi, and has leading claims again on Boo, winner of three of his last four starts. Karl Burke's gelding defied a six-pound rise in the weights when scoring at Carlisle six days ago, beating Ignition to the tune of four lengths despite swerving to his left inside the final furlong. That victory, on the back of a hard-fought success over Mount Hillaby at Ayr, shows that the three-year-old is very much on top of his game at present, and he will be hard to stop. South O'The Border is running well at present but was put firmly in his place by Beurocrat at Salisbury and looks booked for a place at best. Wavertree Warrior was all out to get back to winning way at Lingfield and has more to do now, while Entailment finished to good effect when just touched off at Windsor and should be winning soon, but will do well to give four pounds to Boo who rates a solid bet to follow up.
