    Verdict

    Our choice in the opening maiden is Zafonical Storm with Goose Green and Alice Who rated the main dangers. Zafonical Storm was a good third at Lingfield a week ago and he will have learnt from that race. The second placed horse that day, Spoof Master, won at Redcar on Saturday and based on that form Zafonical Star should take all the beating here. Mick Channon won a two-year-old maiden at Lingfield last week and Goose Green represents him here. He has a good record with two-year-old sprinters and his runner is respected. The race looks like being between these two and we will side with Jamie Spencer¿s mount Zafonical Storm.
