In depth

Verdict

Invincibility showed up well on debut and with natural improvement he will take a bit of beating, but he has it to prove on the ground and one that should be suited by these conditions is newcomer QAMAR. Saeed Bin Suroor's colt is beautifully bred and in that pedigree is plenty of evidence that soft ground will be ideal. A sizeable increase in his price as a yearling suggests that he has some ability and this trip is a good starting point, so we will side with him. Snow Magic has shown promise in two starts and the step up to this distance is a positive, though she has it to prove on this going. Doon Kalal can improve for a quiet debut, though expensive purchase Nerves Of Steel is likely to emerge ahead of him with a lovely pedigree in which Sadler's Wells on the dam's side suggests that conditions will suit. An interesting opener can go to Qamar.
