Verdict

General Alarm was due to race at Ludlow on Wednesday so the complexion of this race could change. Jurado Express, Sesame Rambler and Highway Oak are three that could take a hand in the finish. Jurado Express is selected as he created quite an impression when getting the better of a hotpot at Kempton where a bold frontrunning display under today's pilot put his rivals to the sword. Sesame Rambler hasn't appeared to see out three miles on his last two starts so would have to be of interest as he drops in trip, particularly as this drying ground will be in his favour. Highway Oak showed a fair level of form in this sphere in 2006 and hasn't been faring too badly between the flags of late. He may be able to get involved but Jurado Express appeals as the likelier winner.
