In depth

Verdict

Willie Mullins has been in unstoppable form all week and runs no less than eight here. Jockey bookings offer few clues and it's difficult to ignore the claims of most of them with the unbeaten Shanning looking particularly attractive on her handicap debut. Meri Devie has run twice on the Flat at Royal Ascot since landing a Grade B handicap over hurdles at the Punchestown Festival and will have her ground though the stable pick may be URADEL, a lightly-raced dual winner over hurdles who won on the Flat here on Monday and looks well treated on a mark of 132. Harry Fry sends Minella Awards from the UK and he's looked a very smart handicapper on his day with a Punchestown victory to his credit while Art Of Security bounced back to his best at Ballinrobe, though an 11lb rise looks harsh. Supreme Vinnie has been in good form over fences and reverts to hurdles on an 8lb lower mark while Benkei could go well at a big price.
